README 558 B

  1. This directory level abstracts out the Linux Operating System dependent
  2. features of uClibc for supported Linux architectures/CPUs. If you wanted to
  3. port uClibc to some new Linux architecture (arm, mips, etc), this is the place
  4. to add that support.
  5. All stuff that is not at all dependent on a particular Linux architecture
  6. goes in the 'common' directory. However, for new architectures which are
  7. using the generic syscalls in the Linux Kernel, the 'common-generic'
  8. directory should be used instead as they all use identical interfaces for
  9. the system calls.
